happy light

Boy oh boy Delir 2 is a gorgeous, symphonic, ambient treat. What a stunner!!!

Moonworm

A seeming extension of the artist's modern-classically-infused Fabric mix from 2013, Vin Ploile is like a tropical or swampy cousin of Floating Points' excellent Elaenia. I'd always assumed the cover depicted a child on a swing, which made sense given the nostalgic, playful, and jazzy reverie on display throughout the album. Upon closer inspection, it's actually an image of a man (the artist, perhaps?) with a sheet wrapped around his face and trailing off into the air like a dream. And that's really the best way to describe Vin Ploile--it's like a dream.

Cells

Magical assemblage of soundscapes and moods. Didn't expect to like this as much as I do, but Petre has clearly nailed this concept.

Gamba

refreshing and beautiful. The transparent vinyl is actually an immaculate pressing, and should provide years of enjoyment for me. The type of music on display here is timeless.
