I completely agree with LostH on their comment. Prior to this release the "Old Skool Rewinds" by Spinback and Storm was arguably the best old skool hardcore mix compilation, but this release exceeds that by some margin. Cd 1 and 2 are packed full of quality old skool hardcore tunes from the 91-94 period with lots of rare tunes, tunes that you won't hear on your typical old skool compilations. CD 3 is more recent releases with an old skool sound, this CD is equally as strong as CD 1 and 2 and a pleasure to the ear too. All 3 CDs are well complied and brilliantly mixed, its difficult to find any negatives or to choose a stronger CD. Also, you can even hear the odd crackle from the vinyl too at the end of each CD that gives that rugged authentic sound.If you want a decent old skool hardcore mix compilation then this is a no brainer and a must buy. Nice one Bunter, here's hoping that starts a little series of these releases!

This is one of the best old skool hardcore DJ studio mixes put to disk. Previously the old skool rewinds mixes with spinback and storm on rumor records had that crown but this blows it out of the water. If you like your old skool hardcore and are tired of hearing the same old anthems then this compilation is a must buy.
