Utterly disappointing cash grab by Universal. The box consists of existing pressings thrown together in a cheap box with a lyric sheet. Released for the 50th anniversary of the band yet the copy of White Light/White Heat literally has "45th anniversary" printed on the spine. Shameless. Nothing special about any of the discs. You could just buy exact contents of the box set brand new and it would probably work out cheaper. Avoid at all costs, don't make the mistake I did thinking that because it was released for the 50th anniversary there would be something special about it. Universal should be ashamed of themselves.

Anyone else have trouble with WL/WH when the first disc gets to "Here She Comes Now"? Mine can't make it through the song without skipping.

I needed all the records and got this but can get them all seperately and save a lot of money, should have been priced with this in mind and should not be limited issue.They are all U.S. pressings with lots of pops and crackle, issues span 9 years from VU & Nico (2008) to Chelsea Girl (2017) but seem to have all been cut by same person, loud perhaps to point of distortion but otherwise good imo. Remastering credit (digital?) to Kevin Reeves on insert.

Likewise, I preordered this because I needed all the records, but now knowing that it's comprised of pre-existing releases, feel like I overpaid for essentially the outer box and lyric book.

This doesn't seem right; the songs on sides G and H duplicate side N, except for the addition of the alternate take of "I Heard Her Call My Name." It also doesn't match the picture which shows "1969" as the only double album. The Other Version above seems likely to be more accurate. It doesn't show a country, but the catalogue numbers are the same except for the other one not having a dash before the final 01. The barcode in the picture looks to be the same as the one shown for the "Other Version," though I can't quite make out the little sixes at the beginning and end.

Yet it is correct: The White light/White heat LP in the boxset is the double LP reissue. The bonus tracks for both albums are almost equal.

Did anyone else expect that this release was going to include new pressings? Also, the copy of Loaded that I received has "Kweku Collins: Nat Love" on side A and some unidentified group on side B. Sleeve and label are correct, the music is not.
