This is one of my favorite Prince albums. 40 years after the Purple Rain album and still doing amazing music.

Talrajas

My pressing has some distortion issues on a few of the songs when the bass hits hard. I have an Onzow stylus cleaner and wet/vac clean all my vinyl new and used before I ever play. Not sure if it's just a bad pressing or what the deal is. Anyone else have an issue with this???

It's mastering issues, the same is present on the CD sadly.

Loses (at least) one star for the absolutely dreadful packaging! A class album packaged like a freebie. Shameful...

Daigrel

Actually a very good return to form for the purple one. IMHO -- not a bad track on it and it is a steady grower. It's charms unfold steadily over time.

Very nice stuff. Lots of sexy-time, some powerful sweeping Purplefunk, and some sci-fi wish fulfillment. Good solid Prince for the fans.Interestingly, I much preferred the version of Funknroll offered in the 3rdeyegirl release.

very nice solo album from Prince prooving he can make a Funky and pop ambiance over an entire albumwithout shame regarding what is released elsewhere now, he is unique and will remain so.
