If you like the Bladerunner Soundtrack, I think you might find this equally enjoyable. It's mostly a cruis-ey drift through some superb ambience that really deserves a close listen. Good for late nights. The first few tracks being more uptempo (which I personally like but understand others may think naff - like The Brand New Heavies & Morcheeba) slide quickly away into a feeling most of the time somewhere between a snowdrift, a navel-gazing, introspective trance, and a lovely, shallow hypnosis. Mesmerizing soundtrack. Reminds me of the gentility of Bladerunner, but without as intense atmospherics. More accessible whether concentrating hard, or putting it on as beautiful background sound. Very "lost-in-my-own-self-indulgence" music that pleases immensely. So does anyone know if the movie is any good and is it only worth seeing on the giant screen of an Imax?
