Comin Thru kind of reminds me of Sterac's remix of T-Quest's [upiter], or maybe even early Robert Hood, circa "Minimal Nation" or "Internal Empre". due to its minimal, surgically precise flow and very linear, nervous progression. There's a playful, micro melodic hook that gets stretched almost during the entire track over fast minimal beats. Too bad it never develops beyond the initial moments, but it's a fine addition the more on point and uptempo work of The Advent from the nineties. Far from being as memorable as Tremmer though.Like Warriors is off the hook and breaking the chains of Babylon. One of those no start/no middle/no ending tracks which just tosses you in the pit with bare knuckles and leaves you a thousand miles away in the same confused state it picked you up in. Crazy overlapping beats drove by panicky passages, resembling those on early Mills releases (Extremist, etc.), stupendous hi hat action and overpowering conveyance with such intensity that it renders defenceless the competition by the excessive profusion of pure, raw techno energy. It's my favorite out of all the tracks they recorded under The Subjective moniker. Not quite the finest thing I've ever heard, but I don't think Like Warriors contains a millisecond without a beat, kick, stomp, thump, whatever you want to call it. So undeviating and bald it is a pleasure to let it rip you apart.
