This is a lovely promo which works as a great compilation that never was - drawing together a broad range of Annie and Dave's work together. The interesting thing is that it includes a few significant solo and independent pieces from other great singers (Alison Moyet and Sinead O'Conor). The booklet also mentions other work the duo did, making it clear Annie and Dave's influence went far beyond the Eurythmics. It's nice to have it all contained on one CD.I only wish it had Julia instead of Sex Crime, but that's hardly a criticism. [The extended version of Julia, with longer bits of Dave's guitar giving the music space, is for me one of Eurythmics' most beautiful pieces - and I don't think you can get it anywhere on CD.]
