Is Any ones else's pressing of poor quality ?I understand it's all meant to sound a bit rough round the edges but it's as though allThe tracks are dubbed down and flat

My copy has great depth. It sounds as I'd expect, no complaints here. Might be the 2nd pressing that sounds rough, cause i bought the first issue directly through LB and love the sound.

I honestly think it's meant to sound like that. Mine's the same. It's a very lo-fi album. Shame there's no digital release to compare it to. Great album nonetheless.

Have to say I love the album and I understand we are living in an era of old is new and lo fi etc but my pressing is pretty poor to be Honest and I'mDisappointed because the Lauren Bacall 12s are allReally well pressed

That's sad to hear. I really want this vinyl but I'll wait for a repress or remaster and keep buying all his new material.

those were not represses though, only some backstock left that went available again :)

I see some represses popping up in the marketplace, google doesn't provide more info though...

Great album. A bit rough round the edges but charming with it, that's obviously what gives the label's music its character. Lovely music.

Another beautiful release from this label. A great listen all the way through. So far all the releases from this label have been excellent.

now i'm prepared for the short dark & cold days, all tracks are pure gems ... perfect first LP from Grant. if you're into raw lo-fi & soulful deep house, keep an eye on this guy & the The Lauren Bacall label!

I discovered this label a few days ago.. just bought everything. Super classy stuff. Prices in Europe are on the high end.. but it's money well spent.
