LIKE progressive trance ? then the is for you ! buy it , its not to missd i picked my copy up of ebay( other shit sites are availble .) as it wasnt available in the uk at the time . but yes . this is great does has sashas magic on it by pob but track 7 remixed by art of trance . really does it well for me . has that pinch of goa full onness that i like worth buying not to be missed solid 8/10 not for getting its unmixed also is and extra bonus touch !

Despite being a big fan of Platipus records at the time this came out i was quiet sceptical about remixes of 80's tunes but my scepticism was unjustified. This is worth buying for 2 tracks The remix of waterfront is outstanding and they have done it more than justice, some key elements of the original are there & Union jack have kept the lyrics but but they have supercharged it with 4/4 kicks and 303 sequence that is gradually increased resonance & cutoff frequencies. This remix outshines the original in just about every way, 5/5. The other tune off this is the remix of chromium which is even better than the original i have on Plat vollume 4, it is much faster in tempo, 140bpm & a lot harder but there are still a few elements from the original, 5/5.

Not only an excellent showcase of the Platipus labels quality roster, but also a neat milestone on the progressive trance highway. This album is worth having solely for the amazing POB remix of Sashas 'Magic'. Having said that, the rest of the tunes are also pretty impressive, even the Simple Minds remix that could have been cheesy but which somehow works.

This compilation showcases the diversity of the artists remixing capabilities. The Union Jack remix of "Waterfront" really shows what can be acheived with a 303! This album is currently being given away at www.platipus.com when you buy Platipus Volume Seven.
