Saberblade
My least favorite PJ Harvey album. I wish they'd started the swaps program before this release.
Risinal
this is the record that made me cancel my VMP subscription almost 2 and half years ago.
Chilldweller
If anyone is interested in parting out their cocktail recipe card, contact me.
Velellan
Between this, Father John Misty, and Youth Lagoon, I wound up cancelling my VMP membership after The Upsetters album (which is a classic).
romrom
terrible pressing and album. quit VMP because of this bullshit.
just one girl
Sounds like getting the CD release is the way to go. The vinyl is most likely just a pressing of the CD master anyway. I cancelled VMP after 2 releases - for starters, the next record up I had zero interest in and I don't think there is any way to skip. 2nd, they had no answer to my questions concerning mastering and pressing. Like one review states - crap hipster bullshit. What sucks is that once these idiot millennials tire of this 'fad', there junk copies will litter the used record bins, having been played to death on Crosley 'tables and the like. Ugh.
Biaemi
Actually really liked the music and I put off listening to this one for a while.. I can see the terrible pressing of the album the whole thing looks like it is scuffed, not even bother putting it through the spin washer after everyone else's comments. Post to their FB page complaining about it, I just did. Also the sleeve, etc was fine on the one i got.
Reggy
Probably.. never heard back from VMP either directly, lame.
Liarienen
Where is the complaint? I've looked for it on FB to no avail...I wonder if they deleted it?
Na
Meh. Found this nice, but predictable. Surface noise as well …
thrust
Another crap hipster bullshit release from VMP. I wish my wife had just given me 170 buck and said go play in the record store. I would have her cancel and get a refund if I didn't think it would hurt her feelings. I guess it is Karma for running the BMG/Columbia record club scam 10 records for a penny so many times in my youth.

Getting presents is hard
Arakus
Great Album. Love it. I did not except that's so good music. Too bad the inner sleeve is a bit damaged. :/
Yayrel
The album itself is great... The record, however, is very noisey and no amount of cleaning has changed that.
Kirizius
So like most people I love the album, I'd say the first 6 tracks are absolutely great and the remainder of the album is good as well though it definitely slows down a little bit which is just not something I'll always be in the mood for. But overall I love the release and the extras are cool to have BUT there is definitely some issues with the noisiness of this pressing. At times I forget it's there but the alum does have a lot of quiet sections and during these times it is pretty noticeable and is distracting when it first gets quiet. Also anybody else get a messed up inner sleeve? Mine was banged up really bad, had to replace it with just a generic paper one.
Getaianne
I am definitely having surface noise/popping issues on mine. I shot it with the ion gun, thinking it was maybe static, but without success.
Winasana
AMAZING album, but the vinyl itself has background noise
Arihelm
Does someone else have problems with the sound quality on the first tracks of side A? A lot of surface noise and cracks on my copy.
Doomblade
Same thing here. First track starts very scratchy. The rest is fine.
Gugrel
My copy is better but still very noisy after cleaning. Disappointing.
Anicasalar
Cleaned mine, had a little noise on A1 but sounded good after that
Thetath
Cleaned it, but with no result.
lucky kitten
Yeah same -- I'm going to give it a good cleaning and see if it helps.
Kulalbine
