Hip House had a defining moment in the late 80's in dance music history! Unfortunately, it was short lived. There are still releases to this day by artists claiming their music is in the style of Hip House - but this falls way short of being quality & the Hip House flavour is almost non existent watered down commercial euro junk! The lacklustre is all to familiar in today's music, not just Hip House.Home Boys Only were in the right time & place (in between old & new school Hip Hop & the early discoveries of the House music era') with this pretty cool & neat track "Turn It Out" which, along with others at the time had all the right ingredients & formulas. This was one of my favourite Hip House tracks back in the day amongst a handful of others & which has stood the test of time! Tall Paul heavily sampled this in his track "Rok Da House" which had limited success in the commercial scene. Like so many things nowadays, they just don't make them like they use to!
