A really nice, inoffensive but ultimately not outstanding 6-track EP that has a consistent sound throughout (a Detroit-based sound at that) but a variation in tempos and intensity, There are a couple of moody interlude tracks that are not really for the dancefloor, one subtle dubby tune, like a brightened-up Chain Reaction piece, and three upbeat tracks that retain the lush strings and Berlin pads while taking the tempos into foot-shifting territory. The drum patterns in all these are cleverly, subtly funky. One to mix in with the the Rob Hood and Sterac tunes.
