More Shakta goodness. Questions is Shakta's usual brand of funk. Slightly laid back and tribally, this track could actually get used in some straight up tribal sets, although there are the usual Shakta fat sounds in there too. This track is a touch more mainstream than a lot of Shakta's previous work and if spun at a psy event I see it as either an early in the night or late in the morning piece being used to either establish mood, or help bring things down after a full night of super full on action. Bill (Cosmosis) and Seb (Shakta) - Into The Light is a teaming of two of my favorite old time psy artists. While the results aren't bad, they unfortunately don't equal the results of their previous teaming on Transient, which was fantastic. Here we have a much more subdued track on which I honestly don't hear much Cosmosis influence (there are plenty of Shakta influences). Again this is a track that I see more as an early evening, late morning sort of dancable, but not full on pedal to the medal psy. End result - Relaxed results from two pioneers
