If you have been searching for THAT special record for your after-hour DJ-set, look no further - THIS is it! Even more so, if you want to save the very best for last for your audience. Because by playing this marvel of a record, you will give them a musical revelation, which can be heard only on this extremely rare, test pressing-only 12"-single - One also, which they will surely remember for a very long time... Anyway, it seems that Travis Biggs, who was a very accomplished producer ("Solar Funk LP", "Tebetan Serenity") then already, wanted to expand his already magnificent production skills even further, when he tackled his latest project with "Children of the Atlantis". In doing so, he was obviously struck by genius and created, what must be considered nothing less than a truly unique musical experience with his one off "Children of the Atlantis" production. Arguably, when listening to the entire "oeuvre", there are one or two song variations, which are not entirely up to par with all the other, outstanding segments found on this disc. In particular the vocals, with their corny lyrics, although "technically" absolutely fine, add absolutely nothing to what should have been left as stand-alone, killer instrumental dance track from the beginning. Nevertheless, once you get through the "so-so" vocal intros found on the A- and B-sides, Travis's production reveals itself as a tight and super funky instrumental extravaganza, complete with cosmic keys, drum machine rhythms, space sounds and most importantly, with a ONE-OF-A-KIND warp factor bass(-line) to die for. It does not get any better than that. WOW!!!
