"Alteration is the culmination of 2 years of work. In 2003 Jeff and I Started talking about doing an album of material influenced by music that inspired us both, but that we had never really had the chance to explore in our previous work. We looked into the logistics of collaborating on an album that would be recorded in different countries, in different studios with the musicians never having met face to face. Needless to say it presented us with some problems, but far less than I anticipated, and with the recent advancement in technology and the internet, a song could be worked on in Australia then emailed to Indonesia and back again very quickly. Any problems we faced were quickly overcome and what started out as something of an experiment is the completed CD you hold in your hands.
