Don't pay through the nose for this record because it really isn't worth it. After three minutes it fades out right in the middle of the tune! I don't know why it does this as there was a proper radio edit, it is even on this https://www.discogs.com/Various-Deep-Heat-9-Ninth-Life-Kiss-The-Bliss/master/18368 so I don't know why they would use a faded cut of the 12" mix? At the time I was desperate for a copy of this on 7, and had to pay the high price that it was currently going for. Due to that I probably added to the price history of this being an expensive record.

"PURE DETROIT TECHNO!!" From Canada?? I think Ritchie was a little confused even back then

Super nice version of this EP !

Gap between Algorhythm and Melody 928. V2 reads "DO NOT STRAY FROM THE GROOVE -- THIS IS PURE DETROIT TECHNO!!"

Cybersonik's Carousel is only available on this promo release and nowhere else.

Got this in 1990 on white label with plus 8 sticker

This is the first record I ever purchased. I recognized the distinctive logo from a tape borrowed from a friend (the tape was Blueprints for Modern Technology VOL1 and he had drawn the logo on the case paper). The plodding drums and nasty bassline from the title track still transport me back to that first night, as I listened to it in the dark wondering wtf was making all those sounds. I was short-circuited because, at that time, I'd heard nothing like it (save for the aforementioned tape). OBear in mind that back then, this type of music wasn't on the mainstream radio or in super hip TV commercials. I was SO glad when the Classics were released and I could get a new copy devoid of "the scratchies" from overuse.

Technarchy begins with a cold bashing of metal as an intro spins backwards briefly then an *almighty* bass/synth sound drops and rattles your lungs around in your ribcage. I was lucky enough to hear it _LOUD_ in a _BIG_ room a few times. It was made for this in my humble......
Whitesmasher
yep, absolute classic! the agressive bass and industrial techno beat made this track one of the big trend-setters of the house scene in 1990! It's a state of mind...

technarchy is initially what got me hooked. it was some hardcore post industrial techno, and i loved it. it was my favorite and i still find myself enjoying this record. i'll never get sick of it. this is a classic plus 8 record!
