I love this album and had had it on cd. The cd sounded fantastic in the car. Then purchased this yellow vinyl and it sounded very, very weak. Daris's voice is hardly hearable over the music, and his voice makes the whole album. Really disappointed about this vinyl.

Pretty sure this was digitally sourced. Vinyl sounds completely lifeless. I actually sold my copy because there’s no point in owning vinyl that sounds 0% better than CD.

I have the yellow swirl and it sounds very weak. Bad pressing? It just does not have the umph that I expect out of a vinyl. Anyone know of a better pressing??

I see other complaints, but my copy sounds perfect so maybe they just got a bad one or I got lucky? Dunno, but I think it's a fantastic release, and I'm playing it on a less than expensive system...

The jacket print quality is actually very sharp and probably just as good as the original which I owned up until a month ago.My copy actually sounds really good. Extremely quiet throughout and sounds very solid. And that's without a cleaning first. I don't love the "swirl" or marbled look. Most of the time this look ends up coming out messy looking. Just stick with a solid color or black.For $20 or so, this is a pretty solid vinyl release in my opinion. I also don't think this is quite "limited". Time will tell though but I seriously doubt it.

Everything about this release is slipshod. The yellow/black swirl is a mess, there's tons of surface noise, the jacket as well as the wax itself are flimsy, and it's missing the last track on the album, "Motherless Child." What a mess.

FFS, is this guy really on here whining about the absence of a hidden track that is less than a minute in length? It wasn't even on the original pressing.This reissue sounds vibrant and lively. Not sure what the deal is with this guy's copy. Maybe try upgrading to a better turntable or keeping your records cleaner.

Same here - my copy sounds just as good as my OG press. Can also confirm Motherless Child not on OG and wouldn't expect it to be on this re-issue either. For the static noise, my re-issue did have it out of the sleeve, but I ran it through my Pro-Ject Vinyl Cleaner VC-S....static and surface noise completely eliminated.

My copy is free of surface noise, so you may want to try and exchange yours. Also, the original 1995 LP did not include the "Motherless Child" track. I wouldn't be surprised if this release was intended to mirror the original. I think my copy sounds great.

Great release, though more of a green and black swirl verses yellow and black swirl. I have the OG red press from 1994 and this version is just as good. Given the going rate of the OG press, I'll just spin this version.
