No matter where you go, it seems that people are basically good...... but the people of Wisconsin are sort of extra special to me. 'Course, I'm probably a little bit prejudiced in my opinion because my wife, Janice, and I were both born and raised in Wisconsin.

At any rate, over the years I have written a number of songs about Wisconsin and some of her people and places, and since the "T.R. Special," people have encouraged us to record more of this type of song. So, we decided to make this album.

I've always enjoyed most kinds of music, but nearly all the songs seemed to be about other places, so we figured it was time for some songs about our home state......songs about the hardworking, fun-loving people we have known. People who are proud of their heritage. With this in mind, we bring you these "Songs Of Wisconsin."

I would like to thank my wife, Jan, and children, Dean, Tara, and Leah for their inspiration and cooperation in the writing of these songs and the making of this album. And thank you, people of Wisconsin, for being what you are.
