This is not a full-on grindcore album. It's rich in changes and messages. The grunts are hardly comprehensible, but if you read the lyrics you'll find they talk about environmental policies, drugs, progress and several human habits, such as hunting or eating meat. If the album has been parentally labelled it must have been because of its anti-system, provocative messages, rather than its offensive language, which is quite inexistent. There are many samples, probably taken from TV: speeches, interviews and lots of shooting. Track 10 "Earth First!" has no music at all, just an interview with activists from a radical ecological movement named with the song title. These inserts are very effective, they make you think and are a break among the brutality of the music. But the music itself is brilliantly diverse. The two vocalists have each their distinctive grunting: one extremely low-tone and the other wildly high-toned. The rhythm changes dramatically inside each track, ranging from outrageous thrash to power-metal mid-tempo and even slow motion R&B with acoustic guitars. It's an alternative piece of art in the wider sense of the word.
