This set compiles albums originally released on the Island label between 1977 and 1986.
Each remastered disc is presented in a mini LP-style card sleeve, housed in a silver, foil box with wraparound obi-strip. A lyric book is also included.

Disk Union produced a separate, promo box for this set that featured artwork from the 'Steve Winwood' album. This box was sold along with some sets at initial release.

There is a misspelling on the front cover - 'Island Yers'.
