"The Perez Family" Recorded on February 1, 3, 6 & 13, 1995 at Sony Scoring Stage, Culver City, CA
Premiere release of two MGM scores Composed by Academy Award Nominee Alan Silvestri. The first is from the mystery-comedy Clean Slate starring Saturday Night Live's Dana Carvey and Valeria Golino featuring a Benny Goodman score infused with material from Silvestri's scores to "Dutch" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and the second is for the romantic drama Directed by Mira Nair, The Perez Family starring Oscar Winner Marisa Tomei, Alfred Molina, Chazz Palmentieri and Anjelica Huston, an Afro-Cuban based score featuring the sultry trumpet solos of famed jazz Grammy Winner Arturo Sandoval. The 12-page CD booklet features liner notes by Daniel Schweiger and was a limited edition of 1000 copies that has since sold out.
