This is a kind of jazz-funk-disco version of "Love Theme" from Vangelis' score to Blade Runner (that song that sounds kind of like "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"). It's emphatically NOT an electro, synth, or house record; rather it's a very 70s style (by virtue of it all sounding like real instruments played live) dance offering with strong jazz vibes. This wouldn't sound out of place on an album by Chuck Mangione (tho no flugelhorn here!), Sea Level, or Lee Ritenour. As on the soundtrack version, the melody is carried by sax, which trades off with the searing guitar for solo action.
