'Bolandse Nooienjie' bears little resemblance to the Stephen Foster lyric I played this song to an Afrikaan speaker and he said that the 'lyrics' Jim sang didn't make any sense, the title was wrong for a start,Beautiful Dreamer in Afrikaans is 'Mooi Dromer', Bolandse means someone who comes from the Western district of Boland,Nooi means 'young lady' or 'sweetheart'!'Ek Verlang Name Jou' seems better this means 'I Long For You'.The whole album is superb, but I can't understand why RCA didn't release 'I Can't Stop Loving You' as a single,a definite #1,but they had Presley'so why bother with anyone else?Jim would have been better off at Columbia.
