Survivors
Side A starts with some of the best synth squeals I've heard on vinyl. The forbidden fruit is a lo-fi version of the same song from Apple O, with gritty synth in place of lead guitar. Get along with little doggies sounds like the verse of six holes on a stick, now filled mostly with frantic barking sounds made by Satomi. The three tracks by Kit on side B are equally noisy, full of screeching feedback. They are short blasts of punk energy, reminiscent of early Napalm Death release, Scum. Overall, it's a neat little release. Cool packaging and beautiful dark green wax. For fans of early noise-heavy deerhoof, this might be an essential listen.
