There is no higher praise than that due of F.S.O.L., and furthermore.the importance of this LP in the evolution of electronic dance music, cannot be overstated.It's the equivalent to dance music, what "Dark Side Of The Moon" was to rock, or prog rockwhen it was first released. Both have had a profound effect on their respective styles of music.Jumpin' & Pumpin' was already firmly established as one of the most cutting edge andforward thinking dance labels in the entire UK by '91, and "Accelerator" by F.S.O.L. wasmore or less their crowning glory, being a sort of mish mash of some of their other alias releases on that label such as Yage, Mental Cube, Luco. From start to finish,every track on this album is pure brilliance, and the production quality is stunning.multidimensional and compelling in a way that very few full length LP's can everachieve. A "Future Sound " indeed then and now. It easily qualifies as one ofthe most epic electronic dance LP's of the 1990's. Everyone who enjoys thistype of music needs to listen to this at least a 100 times in their lifetime.

A classic of epic proportions. This LP was way, way ahead of its time and I can still listen to all the way through, Im sure partially due to the fact that I had it 91, which gives me a sense of nostalgia but also due to fact that this really is amazing stuff. Considering that a lot of these tracks were on previous EPs and predating the LP by a couple of years even, you cant help but be astounded. This was, and is in my top ten albums of all time and really should be owned by all, even if you only like Papua New Guinea. It is the full version too. That track alone never fails to send a shiver down the spine and set off feelings of all encapsulating joy. Show me one LP of electronic music from the same year that comes anywhere even slightly near to sniffing around its heels and ill eat my hat. A piece of electronica history that without any doubt paved the way for many followers. Warp records in 91 didnt even get near this! An absolute giant killer
