'This is a high fidelity album which reproduces the full audible range of the music. An extremely natural sound is obtained by the use of the microphone, the new AKG (Akustische und Kinogerate), made in Austria in 1954. This is believed to be its first use for a jazz date. The AKG, a condensor microphone, is characterized by an almost flat response from 30 to 15,000 cycles. Custom made, noise-free, vinylite pressings insure accurate reproduction on high fidelity equipment. For best results use the new RIAA (equivalent to NARTB) standard playback curve' (rear sleeve).
