Mayday Mix all the way. Incredible dance track, and strangely psychedelic in it's own way, never heard anything else quite like it. 10/10 /

What a fantastic tune the Mayday remix is, a true Detroit Classic from Derrick May. Big tune at the Hacienda and if you take a listen I am sure you will see why. It absolutely rocks on a big sound system, from the moment the record starts you know you are in for a real treat, with its reverse percussion in parts, string / synths and one funky big base line that when the break comes really goes deep. Love this tune, well worth checking this one out.

This record originally is from 1989, afaik it's a more or less illegal remix by Mayday a.k.a. Derrick May of Dee Lite - Wild Time (not to be confused with "Deee-Lite" who did "Groove Is In The Heart") One side contains beatless but very uplifting Detroit sounds with lots of vocals, organs and pianos. The other side is more Techno-orientated, but builds up to a peak at the end... And yes, it's a Detroit Classic, as the record says!
