At times, it's like listening to a Genocide Organ/William Basinski collaboration, and by that I mean: this is the sound of lying on the floor and just not wanting to exist anymore.The composition on these tracks is spot on, with a keen ear for emotive melodic lines that run like a current beneath crashing waves of noise and distorted vocals. "In Closing" particularly carries a cinematic vibe; like the harrowing final scene to a 1980s action/drama, all heavy rain and slow-motion; our protagonist beaten, bloodied, muddied.Keep your eyes open for more releases from this project, and by all means, grip this tape while you can.
