Show was broadcast for two weeks starting May 7th, 1990.
Show was two hours long, including commercials.
Show coincided with the release of Billy Joel's "Storm Front" album.
• Interviews include: Billy Joel with cameos by Liberty DeVitto, Mark Rivera, and Crystal Taliefero.
• Two of the tracks are rare live tracks which were touted as special live tracks to the program. “Piano Man” was recorded live at New York’s Bottom Line from 1976. “The Downeaster ‘Alexa’” was recorded live on the Storm Front Tour. The latter live outtake also appeared on the 1994 Billy Joel Up Close outing.
• “Say Goodbye To Hollywood” was recorded live for the album "Songs In The Attic." “Back In The U.S.S.R.” was recorded live for the album Концерт (which is Russian for “Concert”).
