Great remixes album from one of the most iconic 80s/90s indie [dare i use that word?] bands The Stone Roses, hats off to all the remixers they've done a sterling job in transforming these, rabbit in the moons mix of i wanna be adored is ace, i love the twisted sample against the vocals. Grooveriders mix of fools gold is good if not a little too quick for my liking, but i bet that goes down well in a drum 'n' bass set, oakey mix of waterfall is worthy of a mention as oakey was a big supporter of the indie music scene in the late 80s early 90s, having a hand in releasing happy mondays - groundbreaking album; pills, thrills and bellyaches and also regularly playing indie records in his sets from bands like the roses, U2, etc. Just one last thing i cannot believe the price of this release? currently one for sale @ £159 wtf!!! i bought this from HMV for £18.99 back in 2001, that's incredible, i guess the value will only rise as the Roses have now reformed and collectors are dying to get their hands on those prized possessions....im not selling mine anytime soon im afraid ;)
