Echoing what jtdevious has to say, this is a serious comp. Some hard to find 12s on this. Anyone for a bit of Arnold Jarvis ? Phase II? Hats off to the curator of this comp. Someone who really loved the sound. Great quality press. Sounds amazing up loud so you can immerse yourself.

Amazing compilation of late 80s house music from the label that brought you most of the good garage stuff. Just as house was becoming mainstream and making nights in the UK popular (Nude, Hot, Shoom), this compilation showcased some of the deeper stuff coming out of New York that peiople like Joey Negro were playing (and copying). Some of the founding fathers of house are featured here on some of these rarer and deeper cuts; Marshall Jefferson, Kevin Hedge (aka Blaze), Tommy Musto etc. Head for the excellent 'I'm a lover' by Kym Mazelle and the gorgeous 'feel tha music' by Ruffneck.
