is it just me or are the highs extremely high? nearly to the point where a needle is poking the inside of my ear?

i dont trust white plastic ... too many bad pressings out there, and in the matter of sound, white &/or clear vinyl is the badest you can get ...

Coloured vinyl always splits opinions and no doubt most of us like to keep it on the dark side. But is white worse than other variations...I think that's debatable!

Does anyone else have hideous sound quality issues with the white vinyl, especially on A1? Lots of pops and crackles and just sounds generally thin/ tinny.Maybe it's due to the white vinyl? Maybe I just have a dud copy?I have all the Vibes & Pepper Records back catalogue and they are all bang on the money quality wise. Usually a well mastered 180 gram black vinyl 12", lacquer cut by Jack Adams @ Optimum, in a shrink wrapped heavy duty cardboard jacket with an inner sleeve for a decent price but this left me disappointed.I should have nabbled a couple of the 2011 V&P reissues on black vinyl, didnt think they would sell out so fast. GHHHRRR!!!

Today Claude Young posted on facebook that he hasn't seen a dime from Vibes and Pepper for this reissue. I've always wanted this record and may still purchase it anyway but that's just some food for thought

My post was just reiterating what he said on his personal facebook page. You're the one posting bullshit. Claude Young stated that TP and Vibes and pepper did the deal behind his back and he never got paid. So thanks for your "informations" but it doesn't change what the man said and I think people supporting this release should know that

Vibes and Pepper has always drastically paid the artists and particulary very well in comparison to the vast majority of existing nu labels.There was a deal between Terrence Paker and Claude Young on this reissue and they both had an agreement. I can understand people is sharing atists state of minds through their communication on social networks but people should take their infomations from both sides (artists and labels) before posting bullshit...
